Executive Director (Washington, D.C.)
Meet Keri! She’s a midwest girl, born and raised, with roots in Ohio and Indiana. Her simple pleasures are a good cup of coffee, John Mayer, Mediterannean food, and being in the sun. Keri is an extrovert through and through and believes connecting with others is what life is made of. This belief, infused with her passion for advocating for vulnerable children and youth, led her to the American Academy of Pediatrics, where Keri manages the organization’s child welfare policy work. As a former foster youth, Keri is particularly enthusiastic about empowering current and former foster youth by giving them a microphone and platform to tell their stories. Keri lives in Washington, D.C. where she spends her free time exploring the district with friends, concert-hopping, and finding new group exercise classes.
